Using Jop

You may use Jop to assess, monitor and improve the accessibility of your websites and digital services, subject to the plan you subscribe to and any usage limits attached to it.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account, and for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Accuracy and scope of assessments

Jop’s automated scans test against machine-testable WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA success criteria. Jop supports accessibility improvement, but manual assessment by a qualified reviewer remains necessary to confirm full WCAG conformance. Jop does not guarantee legal compliance with any particular accessibility law or regulation.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Jop to scan or monitor websites or platforms you do not have the right to assess.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Jop platform.
• Do not use Jop to store or transmit unlawful content.

Fees and plans

Free, Premium and Enterprise plans are described on our Pricing page. Fees for Premium plans, where applicable, are billed in accordance with the plan and payment terms presented at sign-up.

Intellectual property

Jop and its logos, product names and platform are the property of Jop. You retain ownership of the content and websites you submit for assessment; you grant us the right to process that content to provide the service.

Termination

You may stop using Jop and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk to Jop or other users.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Jop is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jop is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including reliance on automated accessibility findings in place of a full manual audit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
